Installing it

Android shows a couple of warnings when an app comes from outside the Play Store. Both are normal. Here is what to tap.

  1. 1.Download

Your browser warns about app files from anywhere. Choose Keep.

  2. 2.Open the file

Tap it in your notifications, or in Files → Downloads.

  3. 3.Allow the install

Android blocks apps from outside Play by default. Tap Settings → Allow from this source → Back.

  4. 4.If Play Protect asks

It means Google has not seen this app, not that it is unsafe. Tap More details → Install anyway.

  5. 5.Sign in

Same details as this website. Updates happen inside the app from now on.

What changed:First release on universalcodebox.com. Compact search, filter and sort bars on Courses, Masterclass and Knowledge Hub, smaller text fields and buttons throughout, and a Check for updates screen in Settings.

What the app collects

The short version. Open any heading for the full detail — the app is not on the Play Store, so this page is where that disclosure reaches you.

  • A device ID, so you can sign a lost phone out remotely.
  • Notification tokens, and a history you can scroll back through.
  • Crash reports and usage counts, to fix what breaks.
  • Only the files you pick yourself — never your gallery.
  • Lessons cached to read offline, wiped when another account signs in.
  • Payments happen in your browser. The app never sees your card.
